Learner Objectives

By participating in this continuing education program, the attendee should be able to describe:

  • The goals of QI and Research in an academic health center and how these goals differ
  • At least 3 criteria that distinguish a QI project from a research study
  • Why publishing is not sufficient to distinguish a QI project from a research study
