Vision Statement

I have had the honor of serving as Chairperson for the Houston Galveston SOCRA Chapter since 2013. During my tenure, I have diligently worked to provide pertinent and time efficient clinical research educational opportunities to our professional members and to the medical community at large. In 2018, I collaborated with the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical complex in the United States, to assist in the development of the ‘Monthly Education and Training Series’ for all clinical research professionals working within the geographical area.

Serving on the SOCRA Board of Directors would be the fulfillment of a personal and professional goal I have had since joining the organization. This position will increase my professional knowledge so that I can better educate our research community on various levels and within a larger population. Clinical research is my passion. It is my calling to give back to our SOCRA research community through educational projects and mentorship.
