Vision Statement

I am honored to be nominated for the position of SOCRA President. My purpose is to empower individuals by “paying it forward” which aligns with SOCRA’s mission. Over the past 17 years, SOCRA has provided me with exceptional career-building educational opportunities and mentorship, which have significantly contributed to my professional accomplishments.

As the Chairperson of the Houston Galveston SOCRA Chapter for 11 years, I have successfully developed and implemented various career-building and networking opportunities for our 1000+ chapter members and beyond. As a member of the SOCRA Certification Committee for the past six years, I have contributed to the development of the certification exam for our professionals. Additionally, I am honored to have served as a SOCRA Board of Director since 2021. My role as Director has given me the opportunity to extend my support towards members and outreach through my board service.

As President, I am committed to serving my fellow clinical research colleagues/community and supporting them in their professional endeavors. If I am elected as your SOCRA President, I promise to diligently work towards fulfilling SOCRA's mission. This includes dedicating my time and skills to represent our members' needs and interests by developing educational programs, providing networking opportunities, and expanding our community relationships. I am deeply committed to giving back to our community, and I am confident that this position will provide me the opportunity to continue pursuing this calling with even more dedication. Thank you for considering my nomination.
