Title: Program Director of Network for Clinical Research and Training (NCRT)

The Director of NCRT supports the clinical and translational research activities for the Florida State University College of Medicine (FSU COM), the NCRT activities associated with the University of Florida-Florida State University Clinical and Translational Science Award (UF-FSU Hub CTSA), and medical student research at COM regional campuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the operations of the NCRT team, with four clinical research coordinators.
  • Manages NCRT’s role in the UF-FSU CTSA project, including overseeing the integration of NCRT services with UF’s clinical, regulatory, REDCap services; with services to CTSA-affiliated investigators; and support of FSU CSTA cores.
  • Assists the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs and Medical Student Research to support medical student research activities with regional deans and their clerkship faculty.
  • Supports the development of clinical research infrastructure for COM including standardization of research processes across COM.
  • Assists with maintaining and expanding clinical research training and education activities with a variety of interdisciplinary research collaborators.

Education: Master's degree from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of academic research achievement, or BA/BS and 10 years of experience in a health-related field.
