Pukar Ratti was nominated for his ongoing contributions toward medical advancements and diverse workforce development, as well as the respect and admiration he has earned from his peers and students throughout his career in clinical research.

"He started his professional journey in clinical research industry almost 20 years ago as a Research Assistant. Some of his major milestones is his progressive career includes: establishing of a new Clinical Research Department at a State-funded rural hospital, spearheading the launch of a Clinical Research Associate Training Program for Clinical Nurses of color at a premier HBCU, leading the start-up of a Regional Clinical Trials Unit and a multidisciplinary Biobank at a State’s largest non-profit Academic Healthcare System, and pioneering the establishment of a world-class centralized Research Institute at a top 10 International Catholic Health System.
