"I have worked closely with Ana in a professional setting since she came to Stony Brook from Ohio in 2019. Ana has always exemplified professionalism, dedication, leadership, and expertise in her field. She serves as a mentor to all individuals within the research group, as well as attendings, residents, medical students, and undergraduate students who seek her prowess. She is the main point of contact for all sponsored studies that come through the department of anesthesiology, exhibiting critical thinking when it comes to operating procedures and feasibility of implementation within our institution. Her knowledge translates to regulatory and administrative work, as she serves on the IRB for our institution. She consistently strives to educate others in her field when it comes to projects she is working on, papers she has written, and the most recent literature she has authored. She has contributed greatly when it comes to poster presentations, clinical trials, investigator initiated trials, and overall to the organization.
