"When I think of a person who has dedicated their careers to improving research, the first person that comes to mind is Jill Burton. Jill has been the anchor of the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center for 43 years. Her entire career has been within the Cancer Center helping new hires, study participants, and providers navigate through Clinical Trials. She is by far a role model to many of us. Jill works tirelessly day-in and day-out via training, navigating participants, and supporting her fellow coordinators. She continues to be the voice of the study coordinators when new leadership requests updates and changes without considering the impact on the study teams. She is the unwavering force and rarely gets the gratitude she deserves."
