Dear Colleague: The Society of Clinical Research Associates, a professional membership organization, was developed to provide educational programs, certification, and a forum for research professionals to exchange information. SoCRA was originally created to benefit researchers at the site, yet our membership has grown to include monitors, data managers, quality assurance, and regulatory representatives from industry, academia, research centers, NIH and regulatory agencies. Our mission is to provide a forum in which our members can learn and exchange information to grow professionally in clinical research and to build strong foundations for successful clinical research outcomes. We encourage professionals working in clinical research to collectively support each other and participate in our educational programs. Some benefits of membership in the Society include:
Please consider your future as a professional in clinical research and make a decision today to become a member of SoCRA, make certification a goal for the next year and participate in educational programs. SoCRA is an approved provider of CNE by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC COA) and the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, and all of our courses and conferences offer CNE and SoCRA CE to our members. Our conferences also offer Category 1CME (Continuing Medical Education) credit. We are open to suggestions and welcome participation by our members. My door is always open, and I invite anyone who is interested in joining or expanding his or her participation in the Society to contact me through the SoCRA office.
