Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually | Non-Exempt | 40 hours/week

We are seeking a Clinical Research Business Development Specialist to support growth by identifying prospective customers, generating leads, conducting outbound outreach, and helping evaluate training needs across clinical research, healthcare, and life sciences organizations.
Key Responsibilities
• Research prospective clients and decision-makers within clinical research sites, CROs, sponsors, academic medical centers, and healthcare systems.
• Execute targeted outbound campaigns and initiate conversations with prospective customers.
• Track and manage leads and outreach activities in the CRM.
• Identify prospect needs and help refine outreach messaging and targeting strategies.
• Qualify opportunities and route appropriate leads to senior team members.
• Collaborate on outreach ideas, content topics, and new market opportunities.
• Travel to conferences and industry events, including occasional overnight travel.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, business development, or customer outreach.
• CRM experience and strong written, verbal, organizational, and research skills.
• Familiarity with clinical research, healthcare, life sciences, GCP, or regulated environments preferred.
• Comfortable using AI tools for prospect research and outreach development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and related business tools.
