Title / Topic: Moral Injuring in Healthcare Workers: Preventing a No-Cost, Self-Paced Intervention to Lessen Moral Distress

Speaker: Kristin Kirchner, PhD, Assistant Professor for the Department of Psychological Science at Valdosta State University, Valdosta Georgia

Objectives:

• Understand moral injury, including its symptoms, and how moral injury can present itself differently in healthcare workers as compared to other populations
• Discuss the conduct and findings of this social behavioral research project
• Discuss personal and systemic applications

Continuing Education (CE): SOCRA members may claim 1.0 CE credit per hour of education. SOCRA members will receive Certificates of Attendance at the completion of the event.
