Learning Objectives:

The objectives of the presentation are to:

1. Ensure that the Principal Investigator (PI) and all research team members assisting in the conduct of clinical research are informed about their obligations and responsibilities as they pertain to Good Clinical Practices (GCP), investigational plan, applicable regulations, guidance, and institutional policies; 

2. Review and understand the importance of implementing audits and benefits to participants and the field; 

3. Describe standard audit processes of clinic research trials.

In compliance with Covid-19 social distancing requirements/local guidelines the following process will be followed. Upon completion, additional details will be provided to the email provided at the time of registration. All attendees will receive a SOCRA certificate of attendance following the meeting for documentation purposes. Participation is free of charge.

CE: SOCRA members will receive one hour of CEU credit for this educational activity.
