The SF Bay Area Chapter presents:

Targeting EGFR: From Bench to Bedside (2006–2025)

Date:  Tuesday, November 25, 2025

Time:  11 am - Noon PST

Location:  Virtual via Zoom  On registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Objective(s):

1. Key milestones in the development of EGFR-targeted therapies.
2. Mechanisms of primary and acquired resistance to EGFR inhibitors.
3. Learn about the treatment strategies in EGFR-mutant cancers, including monotherapy, combinations, and local therapy.
4. Discuss current and emerging EGFR research, biomarkers for predicting response and resistance.

I’m Archana Narasanna, I have a master’s degree in medical microbiology and am currently pursuing a degree in Business Management. I work at Flatiron Health as an Oncology Data Abstractor; at the intersection of science and technology curating real-world oncology data that helps improve patient outcomes and transform how cancer care is delivered.

Before data abstraction, I’ve worked with pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations to support clinical trials and the development of innovative therapies. My background in clinical operations and community-based research has shown me how data can drive meaningful change in patient care.

Along with, I am the Chair of the Society of Clinical Research Bay Area Chapter, where I help foster collaboration and professional growth across our clinical research community. I also volunteer as a writer for the Project Management Institute’s New Jersey Life Sciences LCI, contributing to conversations about innovation and project management leadership in life sciences.

Continuing Education (CE): SOCRA members may claim up to 1 CEU for 1 hour of education. SOCRA members will receive Certificates of Attendance at the completion of the event.
